Free tool · GEO

See your site the way AI does.

Enter your web address. In about 15 seconds you get a score from 0 to 100 for how easily ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews can find your page, understand it and quote it.

You also get the findings sorted by severity, and the three fixes worth doing first.

Free, no sign-up. We read the public HTML of the page you enter, and nothing behind a login. Only check sites you own or have permission to check.

What it checks

Six things AI looks for.

The checker reads your page, plus your robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap.xml. It scores six factors and weighs them into one number.

0125%

AI citability

Does your text have clear, stand-alone facts an AI can lift into an answer? Who you are, what you do, where, and for how much.

Measured
0220%

Brand authority

Does the wider web know you? Wikipedia and Wikidata entries, and sameAs links to your real profiles.

Estimated
0320%

Content E-E-A-T

Signs of experience and trust: a named author, dates, contact details, privacy and terms pages.

Estimated
0415%

Technical GEO

HTTPS, headings, title and description, canonical tag, alt text, security headers, a sitemap. And whether your content is there without JavaScript.

Measured
0510%

Structured data

schema.org JSON-LD that tells machines what your business is: Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQPage, sameAs and more.

Measured
0610%

Platform readiness

Are GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot allowed in? Do you have schema, question-and-answer content and an llms.txt?

What the score means

A starting point. Not a verdict.

Findings come sorted by severity: critical, high, medium, low. The three quick wins are the fixes that do the most for the least work.

  • 90–100ExcellentAI can find you, read you and quote you. Keep it that way.
  • 75–89GoodThe basics are in place. A few fixes left.
  • 60–74FairAI can read you, but you give it little to work with.
  • 40–59WeakImportant signals are missing. You're easy to skip.
  • 0–39CriticalAI barely sees you. Start with the critical findings.

Its limits

What it can't tell you.

It's a quick, honest first look. For the rest, you need a person.

  • It reads one page, the one you enter. Not your whole site.
  • It sees what a crawler sees: public HTML, no logins, no JavaScript.
  • It doesn't ask ChatGPT or Perplexity anything. Whether they actually name you takes a person testing with your customers' real questions.
  • Brand authority and E-E-A-T are rough estimates, kept low on purpose. A closer look should find more problems, not fewer.
  • No AI does the scoring. It's a fixed set of rules, so you can run it again after a fix and see what changed.

Questions

About the checker.

What does the checker look at?

The public HTML of the page you enter, plus your robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap.xml. From those it scores six factors: AI citability, brand authority, content E-E-A-T, technical GEO, structured data and platform readiness. You get a score from 0 to 100, findings sorted by severity and three quick wins.

Is this the same as a full GEO review?

No. It's an automated first look at one page. About half the factors are measured directly and reliably. Brand authority and how you actually show up in AI answers need a person to check. That's part of our SEO and GEO work.

Why is my JavaScript site's score so low?

Most AI crawlers don't run JavaScript. They read the HTML your server sends. If your content only appears after scripts run, a crawler sees an almost empty page, and the score shows exactly that. The fix is server-side rendering, static generation or prerendering.

Which AI crawlers does it check?

GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot and ChatGPT-User from OpenAI, ClaudeBot from Anthropic, and PerplexityBot. If your robots.txt blocks any of them, that's a critical finding.

Do you store my data?

We use only the address you enter, and the result is shown in your browser. The address and your IP address are logged for a short time to stop abuse. If you ask for the full report by email, your name, company, email and a summary of the result reach us through Web3Forms, a form service. Our privacy policy has the details.

How accurate is it?

The measured factors (technical, structured data, citability, crawler access) are accurate for the page it reads. Brand authority and E-E-A-T are rough, conservative estimates. The number is an estimate, not a promise.

What is GEO, in plain words?

Generative Engine Optimization: making your business easy for AI assistants to find, understand and cite when someone asks them a question. It builds on SEO rather than replacing it. Our guide explains it step by step.
