What will your ad budget bring?

Four of your own numbers in, and you see how many enquiries and customers a budget brings, what one customer costs you, and the most an enquiry may cost before the ads stop paying.

Fill in all four numbers to see the result.

These are your numbers, not a forecast. Ad costs move with the season, the market and the ad itself; your first two weeks of real ads tell you more than any calculator.

Questions

About the calculator.

Where do the numbers come from?

From you. The calculator only multiplies and divides what you type in – your budget, what one enquiry costs you, how many enquiries become customers and what a customer is worth. It has no hidden averages.

I don't know my cost per enquiry. What do I type?

If you have run ads before, divide what you spent by the enquiries they brought. If you have not, try a cautious guess and a pessimistic one and compare. Your first two weeks of real ads replace any guess – that is the number to come back with.

What is the break-even cost per enquiry?

The most one enquiry may cost before your ads stop paying for themselves: what a customer is worth times the share of enquiries that become customers. Below it, the ads earn more than they cost; above it, they lose money on the first sale.

Does this count my profit?

No. It shows revenue from ads against what the ads cost. Your own costs – time, materials, travel – come off that revenue, so treat anything close to break-even as a loss.

Is any real result behind this?

One: Aknaässad, our own window-cleaning business, spent €49.92 on Meta ads in high season and got 22 enquiries – about €2.27 each – and about €2,380 in sales. That is one business in one season, not a promise for yours.

Do you store what I type?

No. The calculation happens in your browser; nothing is sent to us.
